A group of Year 6 pupils had a great time during our ‘Make Future Engineers’ programme with Newcastle University when they visited Osbit at The Port of Blyth. This was a great experience which gave our pupils the chance to engage with real life engineers who are involved in solving engineering problems related to renewable energy and cable infrastructure. On Wednesday, Mr Nichol and Ms Watkinson took a group of 32 KS2 pupils to Corbridge Middle School to take part in a football tournament. All of the pupils represented the school superbly, with particular standouts being a brilliantly taken bicycle kick by Dylan F, and an extraordinary long-range goal from Freddie S.
