Skiing!

First sporting competition of the year for Hexham Middle School! Eight pupils from HMS competed at the ESSKIA Dry Ski slope regional round. HMS achieve the Primary Science Quality Mark!

We are delighted to say that we have been awarded the Primary Science Quality Mark.  So far, since its national launch in 2010, over 4000 schools across the UK have achieved a prestigious Primary Science Quality Mark. New Libary!

We are so proud of our new library at Hexham Middle School – it is right at the heart of the building. With huge windows and plenty of space, it’s light, airy and calm and the seating area is already proving popular for quiet reading at morning break. All the fiction and non-fiction books are now out on the shelves
