It’s nearly the final week of term and we will be celebrating our Year 8 pupils next week before they move on to high school.  All week – early lunch treat! Head of School Awards

This month’s final Head of School Awards of the year focused on creativity – one of our core ‘Skills Builder’ themes. I was delighted to see the children being recognised for their efforts in school. Year 6 Sports Day

Plans were quickly amended due to the lovely July weather…but we are so pleased that Sports Day has gone ahead today! Year 6 enjoyed their ‘Chance to Participate’ sessions followed by the ‘Chance to Shine’ events earlier today and here are our proud medal winners. Pupil Success – Bouldering Competition

Hazel and Winnie L put together and entered a Hexham Middle School team for the Inter Schools Bouldering Competition in Newcastle. Hazel and Winnie L both got gold individual medals, Phoebe B got silver and Beth N, Kirstie A and Leo C got a bronze in their categories. Bastille Day

As part of our French curriculum, the school marked Bastille Day with a special French lunch menu today. It was all delicious – what a treat!  Mrs Satow and her team once again prepared a very tasty menu – we really appreciate the effort and hard work that goes into our themed lunch days.  We can’t wait for next year’s…
