HMS Carol Service

As part of the personal development curriculum, our form classes were challenged to create a festive wreath for their classroom door. Safety Works Visit

Year 8 had the opportunity to visit the Safety Works Centre in Newcastle this week as part of their PSHE curriculum. We always love visiting the centre as the sessions are so interactive and informative.   Everyone engaged very well with the important sessions about staying safe in the community. Carols in the Community

A group of HMS singers are visiting local care homes and hospital wards today as part of our ‘HMS Carols in the Community’ sessions.  It is always a pleasure to visit local residents and patients to share festive joy through music. It was incredibly emotional yet uplifting to see the patients singing along this morning and the choir sounded wonderful

Year 6 Christmas Trip

It was Year 6’s turn to visit the panto today and what a morning we have had at the theatre! Thank you to Miss Bell for her great planning and to the staff who joined the trip. Year 6 were a credit to the school once again.  We all laughed from start to finish – it was a fantastic show

Celebrating Success!

We are so proud to hear that Kirstie recently won the Scottish Cyclocross championships for her age at Irvine Beach. What a fantastic achievement!  We are also very proud of Hazel who enjoys continued success in climbing. She has now been selected to the England Regional Squad – this is a phenomenal achievement.  Both pupils shine in what they do
