In Key Stage 3 pupils are required to use a scientific calculator during maths lessons and they are often required for homework. We strongly recommend that your child has their own as it is crucial that he/she is confident in their use and application throughout KS3 and GCSE. Remembrance Art Project

A big thank you to all of the pupils and families who gave their egg boxes for our whole school Remembrance Art Project. Pupils in all year groups have worked to make our HMS display and create many poppies and poppy boxes to mark our reflection and for Remembrance; for all those who died for us.  We massively surpassed our 515 target!

NatWest MoneySense Game

NatWest MoneySense have launched a FREE educational game which has been designed for children aged 7-12.  Learning through play is at the heart of the game! Children earn coins by completing tasks such as clearing up litter. Once they have earned their coins they are taught about basic money concepts such as managing bank accounts, saving and even paying tax!
