Yesterday we saw the launch our year 8 peer mentor training, which will allow the girls to support the wellbeing of pupils at HMS. The training is part of the ‘Be You’ programme being delivered by Stacey from Northumbria Healthcare.

Some KS3 pupils have taken the opportunity to vote in the Make Your Mark vote for 2020.  Many thanks to those that have engaged.  We have tabulated votes and these have been sent to UK Youth Parliament.  There is still an opportunity for pupils to vote online today. Foreign Language Christmas Card Competition 2020

We are launching this year’s Foreign Language Christmas Card Competition! We would like pupils to design a card that shows the Christmas traditions of another country. Year 6 Online Games Club

On Friday lunchtime, we had a Chess focus in Online Games Club. There was a real buzz with some pupils learning how to play chess for the first time. We still have some space to fill alongside our regulars – we are a friendly bunch.
