WOW! Thank you for your support once again. Last week’s PTA Mothers and Others Pop Up Shop raised a huge £640. It was a complete sell out across the two days. Special thanks to the many amazing PTA members who led the shops as well as Mrs Adams and our Y8 helpers for their support. 

Hexham Poetry Competition

Do you have a budding poet at home? Entries are now open for the annual Hexham Poetry Competition. The competition is held in honour of the Hexham-born feminist poet, Elizabeth Gibson Cheyne. All profits from the competition will go towards offering arts opportunities to the children of Northumberland. Entry for those under 18 is free and there are prizes from

Coronation Chair Designs

Miss Taylor is so proud of the engagement shown by a group of keen artists from each year group. They have been working hard over their lunchtimes on entries for the Historic Royal Palaces’ national competition to design a special coronation bench (which will be produced to mark the King’s Coronation in May).The designs are phenomenal and capture British Values

Girls’ Team Cricket Success

This week’s cricket success! Congratulations to the HMS year 7 & 8 girl’s cricket team for winning this week’s competition and qualifying for the Northumberland Indoor Cricket County finals.
