Athletics Success

On Monday, our Year 7 pupils enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of athletics down at the Wentworth in the team event. Our pupils competed very well and conducted themselves brilliantly against 11 other teams from the Northumberland and Newcastle areas. REA Days

Our next Respect Engage Aspire (REA) Days are taking place next week and we are so excited!  All pupils can choose from a wide range of enrichment activities focused on key aspects of our personal development curriculum. Zoolab Workshops

Year 6 were so excited to welcome Zoolab into school yesterday. They enjoyed the Charles Darwin Evolution workshop to enrich their learning in science.  The children loved the sessions and were so excited to meet some of the animals – they were very brave! Arts award Update

As part of their Arts Award Bronze qualification, our pupils worked with Miss Taylor to plan and deliver art lessons to some of our HMS staff last week. Year 5 Football Update

This week, Year 5 pupils were given the opportunity to represent HMS in a sporting fixture. Two boys’ teams and one girls’ team participated in a home football fixture against Ovingham Middle School.
