Pupil Success – Bouldering Competition

Year 5 Sports Day

Plans were quickly amended due to the lovely July weather…but we are so pleased that Sports Day has gone ahead today! Year 5 enjoyed their ‘Chance to Participate’ sessions followed by the ‘Chance to Shine’ events earlier today and here are our proud medal winners. Bastille Day

As part of our French curriculum, the school marked Bastille Day with a special French lunch menu today. Year 7 Author Visit

Year 7 pupils met with Nadine Aisha Jassat, poet, writer and creative practitioner, at the Queen’s Hall, Hexham. We were delighted to attend this second event put on with the Hexham Book Festival. Pupil engagement was strong at both events. #Respect #Engage #Aspire

Cricket Finals

Well done to our Y5 and 6 cricket team who competed in the county finals day at Stocksfield after successfully qualifying from the local round.  The boys had a fantastic morning and won their matches against Kings B & Tweedmouth comfortably on the way to winning their group. London Day 3 and 4

It was a packed itinerary for day three in London. The group enjoyed visiting Parliament Square, Whitehall and Downing Street (ahead of the General Election yesterday). Young Green Briton – Update!

We are all absolutely delighted to get the news that our team – Let the Flowers Bee-gin – has been crowned the national winners in the biodiversity category of this year’s Young Green Briton Challenge.  This is a huge achievement for Sarah, Noah and Anna (who isn’t with the team today) who have all worked so hard throughout this year to
