The School Parliament and Council had their Inaugural Meeting during Local Democracy Week. We are launching an environmental improvement lunchtime group based in Beaumont building for pupils in any year group: the New Buds Quad Squad. The plan is to develop small projects that transform aspects of the quad area. Pupils that like being outdoors, possibly regard themselves as green-fingered or keen to be part of team making things, are very welcome to join.
Last week was another busy week for our sports teams: HMS Year 8 boys were in action in the football county cup against an extremely strong Ashington side. In what was a very even game HMS missed a number of chances early on which they later regretted after falling behind to a deflected shot. Judah then equalised after some quick
