Edward in Year 7 has received special commendation from Hexham Canoe Club after achieving outstanding progress in kayaking over the past few months, gaining promotion to Division 3 in national ranking after his second slalom event. SafetyWorks Workshops

Today our Year 8 pupils attended a series of workshops at SafetyWorks! in Benwell, Newcastle. Included in the series of sessions were safety workshops on organised crime, drugs, alcohol, antisocial fires, trespassing and also county lines. It was really interesting and the children got lots out of each session.

Bright Ideas Grant

An application for a grant from the Venator Bright Ideas Fund has been shortlisted for a public vote. The HMS entry now appears on the Venator Community Fund website. The public are be able to vote for projects they think should win one of the forty £250 grants. Once voting opens, anyone can visit Venator’s Community Fund website and vote
