Last week in our Year 6 Rising Stars assembly, we were joined by Miss Storey, who delivered a fascinating session on memory, retention, and brain training. She explained how our brains use short-term and long-term memory and how we can strengthen both through practice. Pupils were challenged with some fun brain teasers to test their memory skills and learn new strategies for remembering information.
To round off the assembly, our maths and English teachers celebrated pupils who have particularly stood out in lessons this week. A big well done to this week’s winners – your hard work and focus have not gone unnoticed!
