Another stunning blue-sky day in France yesterday – Mont Blanc was looking magnificent when we were up high! Xav commented that when you looked towards Geneva, there was a sea of cloud below us – breathtaking!
All groups have now been exploring the full resort. Most groups have been in the Pixeljump area – a definite highlight of the day! Mr Gaines and Wilf raced in ski cross, but Mr Gaines was disqualified for going the wrong way around a gate! Mrs Barnett’s group headed up on a bubble lift towards the Point de la Masse. They were amazed at the size of the mountain they were about to descend… the group were delighted to ski a red slope in the afternoon! All groups have now focused on getting skis parallel or looking to carve the skis more – this will help build their skill and confidence.
Last night, everyone enjoyed having a chilled evening. Some pupils opted to watch the Newcastle match! It is unbelievable to think we only have two days left – lifelong memories have definitely been made this week!
