A very excited group of pupils met at the airport early on Saturday morning ready for their skiing adventure. The journey started well with a great flight but was delayed by road closures in France. Despite this, the group were in great spirits and excited to reach the resort!
Day one on the slopes and it was a beautiful blue sky day. This raised the spirits of everyone after our very long day of travelling! We met our four instructors yesterday and it was great to have Fabrice teaching HMS once again – he has been an instructor on four previous occasions. The beginners progressed very quickly on day one – they spent time consolidating their snow plough turns by the magic carpet slope. The groups with the more experienced skiers have already visited the jump park and spent the afternoon skiing fast on the upper slopes above Les Menuiers. The pupils absolutely loved it!
Smiley excited faces all round! All of the staff have been really impressed with the attitude and determination today and we’re all looking forward to day two!
