This week it is First Aid Week at HMS. This builds on our offer last year. Our programme this year will focus on Unconscious First Aid for our year 5s. Year 6 and 8 are going to engage with some Mental Health First Aid and our year 7s will explore conscious first aid. We welcome First Aid North East again to deliver these sessions. All pupils will have 1 hour with Steven from First Aid North East. It is great that some pupils are focusing on Mental Health First Aid as in February we will acknowledge Children’s Mental Health Week.
