Hexham Middle hosted a round of the Central Venue League last night. The Y7 and Y8 team battled well across five games. Stand out performances were some outstanding saves by James H and Oswald in goal; a goal line clearance from Charlie P; Finley H’s power strikes at goal; Rory A’s timely interventions in defence; Josh R’s footwork against some giant defenders and Ollie’s energy to get up and down the pitch.
Hexham played well in all of their games. It was great to see them working well as a team. Their spirit was exceptional. We look forward to our chance to play again. Well done boys!
