Art club pupils went to the Queen’s Hall yesterday to visit the ‘Heartwood’ exhibition. The artwork was created by Shona Branigan following the tragic felling of Sycamore Gap and includes prints on discs from the trunk of the tree. This was a significant event in our local area and this is a poignant exhibition currently being shown in Hexham.
Pupils are completing artwork inspired by this exhibition during their art club sessions. Thank you to Miss Taylor for planning such a great experience!
