To launch the history curriculum, Year 6 had a great day exploring the Discovery Museum in Newcastle.
Pupils enjoyed a series of WWII workshops including investigating ‘The Greatest Day’, exploring rationing and learning more about key events and figures, before exploring the museum in the afternoon. It was an exciting way to enrich our learning and we’re all looking forward to diving deeper into the learning back in the classroom.
