We are so excited to launch our first ‘Resonate’ event. The amazing HMS PTA has been working in conjunction with Core Music to plan an innovative new whole school music project to inspire our pupils.
We kickstart our project next Wednesday with a whole school launch event where we will welcome the phenomenal NuSound Brass into school to perform and lead immersive workshops. This year’s theme is delving into the history and origins of black music and we can’t wait to explore further. HMS musicians are invited to bring their instruments along to the session to join in if they wish.
From next week’s launch, there’ll be follow-up work with our pupils including further workshops in school. We will then talk to the children to shape exciting extra-curricular opportunities based on their interests from the project.
