Year 7 NSB Rugby 7’s tournament
Here we had another inexperienced side, many playing their first games of rugby. After defeat in their first game, HMS quickly learned from the experience and went on to draw and win the next games, growing in confidence and finishing 3rd in the group, qualifying for the final of the bowl competition against hosts NSB. Tries were well spread out with Cameron, Benson, Nicholas, Oliver and James all getting on the scoresheet. In the final, the boys combined incredible defence with ruthlessness in attack with excellent tries from Cameron and Benson. They held on at the end to take the crown of Bowl Champions! The boys should be incredibly proud of their achievement, and this team has real promise for the future!
