On Friday, our Year 7 pupils took part in the Design Sprint Workshop of the ‘Young Green Briton Challenge’ led by Dr Meryl Batchelder from the Ministry of Eco Education and Laura Dempsey from Volunteers for Future (a founding partner) and supported by colleagues from Egger in Hexham.
Skills Builder was in action and there was a real buzz in the hall as the children collaborated to identify solutions to the environmental problems identified. All pupils are now embarking on the next phase of developing solutions in preparation for their class presentations. We will keep you updated on progress!
