Our Year 7 pupils have been out and about this week as part of their microclimate project. In geography lessons, pupils have been out in the school grounds collecting data using digital anemometers to measure wind speed and temperature. They are aiming to determine how both natural and human features influence a microclimate in an area.
As part of our Skills Builder curriculum, pupils will be developing their fieldwork skills over the course of the year. They will develop an understanding of careers in geography and how their learning could support their future paths.
