Wow – what an amazing night we had at Hexham Abbey for our annual Carol Service. All of the children were an absolute credit to HMS – the musicians, singers and readers were all excellent – we are very proud of the over 150 children who took part on the night. It was so clear to see how much hard work and dedication had gone into making it such a special event and were once again blown away by the talent and confidence on display.
None of this would be possible without the absolute dedication and enthusiasm of Mr Holdsworth who ensures that music is such a huge part of life at our school. This was his 24th Carol Service…. each year it’s bigger and better than the last! It was a team effort with staff from across the school supporting Mr Holdsworth including Miss Lamont as guest harpist.
Another very special night for HMS to be proud of! Christmas has definitely started now…
