We have had a fantastic afternoon with a team of Year 5 and Year 7 volunteers down at Sele Park in Hexham. We met Cllr Trevor Cessford who talked to us about the work of the Town Council and the cost of maintaining the park. The children took part in litter picking, cleaning graffiti from the equipment, sanding down and giving the slide area a new coat of paint. This is all part of our commitment to raising the profile of community values and respect. We’ll be back soon for part 2! Thank you to the children for their hard work and positivity.
