The deadline for the BBC Young Reporter Competition 2020-21 is approaching. If any pupil in year 7 or 8 is interested in sharing a story and having the chance to work alongside reporters, programme makers and producers, to create an artefact, this is your chance.
We believe at HMS that pupils have the right to have their voice heard. What better way is this opportunity to develop a story and then tell it to the world.

There is an entry form to complete and the deadline for outlining the initial story line is 31 October 2020. You do not have to have the finished product by then. This is a long term project. Finished story artefacts will be broadcast in Spring 2021.
If pupils would like to discuss their ideas further, they can come along to year 7 or 8 Debate Squad (see extra-curricular timetable), with any quick queries.
