As you will be aware, we have previously run a collection for our local food bank earlier this year. However, we are very aware that some families find Christmas a particularly difficult time and after a parental suggestion we have decided to have another collection.
You could donate food items such as:
- Cereals
- Crackers/Biscuits
- Chocolates
- Beans
- Rice
- Tinned stews
- Tinned soups
- Tinned luncheon meats/ fish
- Full meals in cans and boxes
- Dried milk / UHT long life milk
- Tinned or instant potato
- Tinned fruit / vegetables
- Fruit squash, coffee, sugar
All of this food must be 3 months in date. The deadline for collection is Friday 14 December 2018.
