KS3 Music Showcase

I was in absolute awe of every single pupil who took part in our first KS3 Music Showcase last night. It takes such confidence and bravery to get up on stage to perform in front of an audience. Last night was a phenomenal display of talent, dedication and passion and I am so proud of everyone for getting involved so brilliantly. I am sure those who attended will agree that it was an outstanding evening with a wide range of very talented musicians and vocalists taking to the stage.

Special thanks must go to Miss Tindall who has done so much to enhance our music provision across the school since joining us in September. Miss Tindall works exceptionally hard to provide a huge range of extra-curricular and enrichment opportunities and last night was a fantastic celebration of her hard work. Alongside a dedicated team of music teachers, peripatetic staff and highly skilled support technicians, music is very much at the forefront of school life.

Thank you to the many parents and family members who joined us for our first showcase evening. Thank you to the PTA for selling refreshments on the night. We are very much looking forward to many more musical events as the year goes on.

Respect. Engage. Aspire.
