Spain Trip Update

What a day our pupils had – this trip is such a great experience for them!

Pupils visited the historic site of Montserrat, rising to a height of 720 metres to take in the wonderful views.  This was a perfect opportunity to take some great photographs and see the monastery buildings. The route down was by cable car which was very exciting!  The vast majority of the day was spent in Barcelona. We visited lots of the main attractions including the seat of the Catalan politics, La Ramla, Port Vell and Ciutadella Park. A real treat was lunchtime in Boqueria Market.

The day was finished off with a tapas night and special birthday brownie with the singing of happy birthday to one of our pupils! To end the day, we all went down the beach where pupils either relaxed, played football or had the chance to promenade with staff.

Day 3 sees us head back to Barcelona for more sightseeing including the world-famous Sagrada Familia.
