An update from Mr Gaines:
Another blue sky stunning day in France was had yesterday – this made for great conditions in which to learn and progress. The staff have been working hard on ensuring everyone gets plenty of sun cream on our faces and rehydration at the end of sessions. It has been amazing to see how all the groups have progressed. The advanced skiers went up high onto the Grand Masse section of the hill – their instructor even had them navigating around the pistes.
The beginner groups have now been established. All groups have now been on a four person chairlift. We have had a number of laughs at people falling as they get off lifts. It has been great to see the skiers all following their instructors confidently down a variety of pistes.
Last night, we had a quick visit to town where we visited a few shops before dinner, and then settled down for a film night – Eddie the Eagle! I am not sure if anyone was keen to take up the challenge of the 70m hill!!
