Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service visited Year 6 and Year 8 this week to deliver hugely important water safety sessions. The children listened with interest and asked lots of important questions.
The fire service delivered essential messages on water and river safety, including their role in saving lives and pupils engaged in a practical session to learn life saving techniques. River safety is so important especially with the River Tyne running through our town. Pupils must be aware of the very real dangers and how to keep themselves safe.
Please could you support the sessions by following this conversation up at home.
