Maths Challenge

We always look forward to the annual UK Junior Maths Challenge which encourages reasoning, precision of thought and fluency. The maths team have been so impressed with the positive engagement and the results. 

 

A HUGE well done to Arthur D and Will C in Year 8 who have achieved the ‘Gold Award’. Arthur was also awarded ‘Best in School’ and has been selected to represent HMS at the next round – The Junior Kangaroo Challenge. ‘Silver Award’ winners included: Sam B, Anja B, Lucy C, Liam C, Bruce K, Natty O, Imogen S, Thomas W and Finlay W. 

 

In Year 7, Wilf P won ‘Best in Year’ and a ‘Silver Award’, alongside Joseph O and Emilia S.
