We are very much looking forward to being part of Hexham Book Festival and to welcoming the multi award winning author Elle McNicoll into school on Tuesday 25 of April. Elle’s debut novel, A Kind of Spark, won the Blue Peter Book Award, the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and the TV adaptation has just been released on the BBC. Elle will be taking us into the world of her captivating fantasy books, Like a Charm and Like a Curse, introducing us to mythical creatures along the way. It promises to be a spellbinding event!
