As part of National Careers Week pupils from Mrs Bond’s Film Club were extremely excited to take part in a webinar with award winning film composer Roma Yagnik. Roma demonstrated the impact of music score on films, adverts etc. and gave pupils a fascinating insight into careers available within the film industry.
A member of the BAFTA team also attended the webinar and discussed possible first steps pupils could take if they are interested in a career in the film industry. Pupils were also introduced to the BAFTA Young Presenter Competition where pupils are asked to create a short video on this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week theme ‘Growing Together’.
